Activity Overview

• We will spend the day learning how to sail for scouts that haven't sailed before and improving the ability of scouts that have sailing experience. We will be sailing to Balmoral or Chinaman's beach depending upon how we are going. 

Preparation

• Scouts will be buying lunch so please bring money approximately $20 to cover food and drinks. 

Clothing & Equipment

• Swimmers / Rashie / Wetsuit / shorts / Water Shoes  
• A wetsuit is recommended to keep you warm. 
• Scouts should bring a plastic bag (for wet swimmers) and a dry change of clothes to get changed in to after we return to the boatshed.

Travel Arrangements

• Scouts to make their own way to the boatshed.

• This activity will be conducted under direct or indirect adult supervision. Both male and female leaders will be present.
